I have spent 3+ years within various leadership roles at successful businesses, like Amazon & Jiffy Lube. From managing an Amazon department to running & operating many Jiffy Lube stores in the Salt Lake Valley. Throughout my time as a department manager with Amazon I learned many new social skills I didn’t have before. Difficulties between facilities began causing shipments we sent to have long unload times. I was then able to implement a new standard procedure for the department that would be implemented at many other facilities nationwide. This became an issue fast, and needed to be solved even quicker. Luckily, with the new standard in place, we saw an increase in productivity and a jump into all positive statistics, while taking on more work than ever.
At Jiffy Lube, I’ve learned to become a strong leader in small teams and become a good role model for new or existing employees. I’ve learned to become the teacher I once needed in the automotive industry and it feels good to be able to pass some of that knowledge down. While I’ve learned lots I would love to learn more and become and even better leader in the future!

I enjoy brainstorming and implementing new ideas and improvements where I can find applicable in the workplace. With recognized large improvements for successful companies. I take pride in having a good work ethic and like to work hard at the task at hand to achieve a completed goal.



Determination

I’d like to think of myself as someone who doesn’t give up very easily, through many tough automotive jobs that love to throw curveballs at you and many other challenging times within the workplace and my personal life. I appreciate tackling a tough task even if it is difficult and made me scratch my head for a while.



Experience

I have been practicing code languages and creating websites for 1 year in a certificate course at Salt Lake Community College. Within the class I have created this site you’re viewing now! Along with another website as a practice project. I have been in leadership positions for 3+ years at various locations and have the most experience in the automotive field which still always has room for improvement.



Communicator

I used to be very shy and scared in social situations until I had enough opportunities to gain some experience in different situations such as public group presentations in front of senior leadership and delivering a friendly 1-on-1 customer service experience. Especially when working with a small or large team I tend to over-communicate rather than holding back when I should speak up.
